APMSRB recruitment 2024:- The Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Recruitment Board has passed an order concerning massive recruitment for Civil Assistant Surgeons in all PHCs and other health institutes that are located under the Directorate of Public Health and Family Welfare in the state. As many as 280 civil assistant surgeons’ positions must be filled up through such a recruitment exercise although figures may vary.

Eligible applicants with MBBS qualification are available for recruitment. Interested applicants are allowed only through the official website of APMSRB. Online application starts on 4th December 2024 at 11:30 AM and closes on 13th December 2024 by 11:59 PM.

APMSRB Recruitment 2024 Details
There are 280 vacancies for Civil Assistant Surgeons. They are available in all the health institutions across Andhra Pradesh. All the candidates who want to apply for this post should satisfy the eligibility criteria given below:
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Medical Council of India must be required.
- Age Limit: Limits of age for the categories are as follows;
- OC (Open Category): up to 42 years.
- SC/ST/OBC Categories: 47 Years or younger.
- Differently-abled candidates: Up to 52 years.
- Ex-servicemen: Maximum 50 years.
- Salary: The shortlisted candidates would be paid a salary between ₹61,960 and ₹151,370 in accordance with the experience gained and the seniority level.
- Selection: Merit-based selection process without interview. Marks obtained in MBBS degree shall have weightage of 75%, and further weightage of up to 15% to be given to candidates who have relevant contract service experience like working in COVID-19 times or working in rural or tribal areas.

- For OC applicants: ₹1,000.
- For SC/ST/BC/EWS/Differently-abled applicants: ₹500.
